“Why would I buy this?” “What will this do for me?” “What pain will it relieve?”
The answer to the question lies in laying out benefits. What does this do for me that solves a problem I might have? The seller’s job is to find out what problems a prospect might have that can be solved by his product or service.
The buyer’s job is to decide if the product satisfies an acknowledged or potential problem.
When you are looking to buy or sell, understand how the benefits provide solutions to problems, either existing, in the future, real or perceived, or hadn’t even been thought of before.
